Seinfeld reunion on Curb Your Enthusiasm

This is shaping up to be the highlight of this upcoming fall season: the Seinfeld reunion on Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's been 11-years in the making and now for the first time since Seinfeld went off-the-air in 1998 all the original cast members are back on one screen for a multi-episode-arc on the 10-episode season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

ABC Fall

ABC is conducting a major facelift to its schedule in the fall adding a bunch of new shows. The network has left only its power house shows on the schedule like Lost, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters and of course Dancing with the Stars as it added new ones with big names like Kelsey Grammer, Courtney Cox, Ed O'Neal, Joseph Finnes and Patricia Heating to it's line-up

CBS Fall

CBS is the network that has the least new shows as traditionally their shows do consistently well in the ratings. Among the new faces of the fall will be Jenna Elfman, Julianna Margulies, Chris O'Donell and Patricia Arquette (who is jumping ship from NBC).

NBC Fall

NBC's new schedule has less shows on prime-time as the network has decided to give Jay Leno the 10pm time-slot 5-night-a-week. As a result they only have 2-hours of scripted programming per night like the CW and Fox rather than CBS and ABC who continue with airing shows between 8pm-11pm.
With the Vancouver Winter Olympics commencing in February NBC also decided to divide its schedule into two.

All About Steve Premiere

Sandra Bullock is back to the big screen (for the second time this summer) in a romantic comedy that she not only stars in but also produces. In The Proposal she was a vicious publisher, this time in All About Steve she is a obsessive crossword puzzl...e writer who runs half-way across the country to be with who she thinks is the love of her life... Bradley Cooper and Thomas Haden Church co-star and add some very comedic twists to the movie.
I attended the premiere at the Chinese Theatre and here is what the stars had to tell me about their new movie...

Thirtysomething coming back... on DVD...

It's been 18-years since Thirtysomething has been off-the-air and still the show is been referred to as one of the most influential shows on television.
For many years rights issues have stopped the show from coming to DVD (mostly music rights),... however this week it is finally here. I don't use this phrase a lot but this is a must-have.
Btw it was fascinating to see Ken Olin on Thirtysomething who looks like Jon Ham's ("Mad Men") long lost brother...

Sons of Anarchy getting ready for Season 2 & DVD...

Sons of Anarchy is quickly filling into the void that The Sopranos has left behind when it left the airwaves. A stellar cast that includes British hunk, Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman and Katey Sagal (who is also married to the executive producer of the show) bring this modern day Shakespearean tragedy spun into the world of the vicious motorcycle gangs.
Next week FX is launching season 2 of the show as the DVD of season 1 is released this week. The cast got together on the Paramount lot to celebrate both occasions and I got to talk to them on the red carpet before they got too drunk to know what they were talking about at the after-party...
